WearCheck
WearCheck is the leading condition monitoring company in Africa serving the mining, earthmoving, construction, transport, aviation, industrial, rail and marine industries. It processes more than half a million oil samples annually.
WearCheck is the pre-eminent supplier of transformer oil analysis at their purpose-built facility in Johannesburg. Diesel fuel, coolant, grease and filter analyses are also amongst the testing portfolios available. Specialised testing profiles such as copper, silver strip corrosion and corrosive sulphur are also offered.
Set Point Laboratories
Set Point Laboratories remain committed to providing high quality analytical results combined with a rapid turnaround time. All this is underpinned by cost-effective delivery and the ability to develop client specific procedures that are best suited to the task at hand.
Based in Isando, Johannesburg, Set Point Laboratories was formed in 1999 by merging three established commercial laboratories. Set Point Laboratories is an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory and is registered by the National Nuclear Regulator to transport, handle and analyse uranium bearing geological samples.
Meter Systems
Meter Systems was established in 1978 supplying equipment to the Aviation and Petroleum distribution industries. The company now provides a diverse range of solutions and equipment to the traditional Petroleum companies. These include Mining, Agricultural, Pharmaceutical and Petrochemical sectors for consumers and users of liquid fuels and lubricants alike. In 2007 Proflow and Meter Systems joined forces increasing the market coverage and product offering to include general industrial instrumentation and locally manufactured process measurement.
Letaba
The Letaba “culture” has been developed through long term relationships with clients, suppliers and staff and founded on service excellence and quality products. Established in 1992, Letaba Dewatering continues to build on its reputation for professional execution of water transfer needs to construction, earthmoving, mining and industrial clients. This reputation is founded on the experience and expertise of the team and a proven track record of excellence, innovation and delivery. Letaba Dewatering concentrates on two major areas of business namely: hire and resale of their product range. Letaba Dewatering supplies the largest fleet of pumps for hire in Southern Africa.
Pneumax
Pneumax is well suited and capable of satisfying needs in the pneumatic automation and mining fields. Our mission is to provide well engineered and reliable products together with supplying good service and developing good relationships with our customers.
Established in 1987, Pneumax has over the years built a reputation as one of the leaders in the pneumatic and automation fields. Its strength is, and always has been, the capacity to offer innovative, modern products supported by Pneumax, Italy.
RENG and North West GOPRO
North West GoPro and Reng (RengGo) are based in the Northern Province and manufacture high quality Hopper/Loco Wheels andSkip Guide Rollers. RengGo has become a major force in the supply of a large range of engineering products to the mining industry in the Klerksdorp and surrounding areas.
North West GoPro was awarded “TopSupplier 2002 and 2003” from Arm-Harmony.
RengGo’s major customers include Anglo American Platinum, Arm Gold,African Rainbow Minerals, Barberton Mines, Harmony Gold MiningCompany . . .
African Mineral Standards
Set Point’s diversity comes full circle with African Mineral Standards(AMIS). As one of a small number of suppliers in the world that manufactures matrix matched reference materials, AMIS is one of an elite. AMIS manufactures and sells a range of matrix and grade matched reference materials, to exploration companies, mining companies and commercial laboratories. Reference materials are samples with known grades that are used to verify assay laboratory results, in particular for assay precision and for in-between laboratory bias. The AMIS range covers a wide variety of platinum, base metal, gold and uranium ore types.
