The Head Office is situated in Isando, Johannesburg, housing workshop facilities, stores and counter sales. There are also branches in Durban and Cape Town. Pneumax has opened an office in Pretoria with the full product range available as supplied by Pneumax Johannesburg. They have agents and distributors of their products in all major cities in South Africa.
Products offered by Pneumax begin with AIR PREPARATION UNITS, moving on to AIR MANAGEMENT DEVICES such as MANUAL and SOLENOID OPERATED VALVES and finally ACTUATORS and HANDLING EQUIPMENT. To complete our range we also offer LINEAR AND ROTARY ACTUATORS, PROCESS SOLENOID VALVES, DUST COLLECTORS VALVES, FITTINGS and TUBING. Pneumax also supplies IMPERIAL MINE CYLINDER and RAIL CHANGE CYLINDER DEVICES to mines in South Africa and other African countries.

This range of products, mostly manufactured locally by our workshop, conform to ISO standards. All products supplied by Pneumax Italy are integrated with a company quality system, operating in accordance with Vision 2000 and 14001 environmental management standards. Pneumax also repairs Pneumatic Cylinders and Actuators and manufactures special functioning Pneumatic Cylinders. In addition to the PNEUMAX PRODUCT RANGE, Pneumax also represents the following brands in South Africa:
  • ISAIAH - PUSH LOCK FITTINGS - A Chinese company with large variety of Pneumatic fittings to suit almost all pipe work related applications.
  • TPUCO TUBING - A Taiwanese company specializing in the supply of polyurethane and nylon tubing.
  • GOYEN DUST COLLECTOR VALVES - An Australian supplier and world leader in its field in the design and manufacture of environmental, industrial and pneumatic control systems.
  • ACL - PROCESS SOLENOID VALVES. An Italian based company, manufacturing competitively priced solenoid valves, using the highest quality raw materials.
  • OMAL - VALVE AUTOMATION PRODUCTS. An Italian leader in the production of actuated valves, and a well established brand name in Europe.

Technical training is offered to all our staff and clients in the form of the following courses:

  • MODULE 1 - Basic Pneumatics introduction
  • MODULE 2 - Advanced Pneumatics,
  • MODULE 3 - PLC introduction.The programs are government approved and accredited by Merseta (manufacturing, engineering & related services seta) and adhere to the National Qualification Framework (NQF).
